Deeksha Philosophy

The founders of Deeksha High shared a common vision: To build an institution that defined ‘excellence in education’.

They dreamed of creating a unique learning environment for their students to grow in and excel. Based on their experiences at world class institutions both in India and abroad, they endeavored to emulate some of the best practices back home.

Its panel of eminent personalities from the educational field has developed a specialized teaching model to bring out the natural talents and abilities inherent in every child.

This model aims to:
1. Adopt interactive teaching methods to make learning interesting and lively
2. Employ alternative learning techniques and technologies
3. Stress on participatory learning and two-way knowledge share
4. Emphasize equally on academics and extra curricular activities
5. Create an atmosphere where students are encouraged to indulge in action oriented and practical
    application of classroom concepts

The Deeksha High Trident:

Deeksha’s approach to learning is greatly influenced by the emphasis we lay on the ‘Learning Trident’. We believe that benefits of schooling at Deeksha can be maximized if the interaction is three-way.

The child, the teacher and the parents are at the vertices of the ‘Learning Trident’, encouraging a free flow of ideas and feedback. This multi-way exchange helps us regularly review and enhance our methods and policies, enabling us to serve you better.

Outlined below are pointers to get parents started:
1. Involve yourself in your child’s academic experience. Pick up from where the teacher left and help
    us facilitate better.
2. Give your child the precious gift of time
3. Encourage the use of innovative teaching methods both at school and home.
4. Substitute pressure and stress with emotional support

Do you know your child’s friends? Do you possess the gift of story telling or drawing?
Are you game to volunteer at cultural and sporting events – be it music, dance, yoga, or cricket?
Can you organize health checkups and camps for our students?
Or can you spare some time to share your career experiences with our older students?

If the answer to any if the above questions is ‘YES’ then please fill out the below ‘I Volunteer’ form :
